BRI PARSHA TIDBITS
"[...every other skilled individual], to whom Hashem has granted the wisdom and understanding in them (בָּהֶם - etymologically similar to an animal - בְּהֵמָה) (Shemot 36:1)."

Rebbe Nachman explains in the book Rebbe Nachman's Wisdom that it is true wisdom to know how to be like an animal.

Reb Noson elaborates that unfortunately, people who sin and behave like animals have complaints and inquiries about their spiritual and physical conditions. "Why am I like this? Why do I have troubles?" and so on.

When a person understands that with our limited intellect, flooded with animalistic traits, we cannot understand the ways of the Creator, it is simple for us to behave like animals without understanding, believing that everything that happens to us is from Him, blessed be He, and not to try to understand His ways. Especially after we fall into animalistic behavior.

This is a very great wisdom, and with it the Tabernacle was built.

May it be His will that we pray and believe in the Creator with all our might, and cast away thoughts of trying to understand His ways.

Have a great Shabbos!

Chaim Kramer
