One Small Step for MAGEN, One Giant Leap for Rogers Park Safety!

Historic Milestone Achieved as First Drone Dock Station Installed

Tonight marks a pivotal moment in community safety as MAGEN Chicago successfully installed its first drone dock station, ushering in a new era of safety technology for our community safety. This groundbreaking achievement represents a full year of FAA paperwork, planning, preparation, and unwavering volunteer commitment and support.

Looking Ahead: Expanding Coverage

While tonight's installation represents just the beginning, MAGEN Chicago has ambitious plans for comprehensive coverage across our community. The organization aims to establish two additional drone stations in the near future:

- One station positioned on the north side of West Rogers Park

- Another strategically located in Peterson Park

This three-station network will provide extensive coverage, ensuring that our community benefits from enhanced overwatch and rapid response capabilities throughout the area.

As we move forward with this exciting initiative, the system will soon become operational. MAGEN will continue to provide regular updates on the program's progress and operational status.
