CMC WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS MAKING A DIFFERENCE CMC Expanding Special Assistance for Seniors During Covid-19 As the Covid-19 situation continues to be of great concern to seniors and other especially at-risk populations, CMC continues to expand our services and assistance for the most vulnerable members of the community. Recent highlights in advance of last week's holiday of Shavuot included the following: CMC prepared and delivered OVER 500 FRESH-COOKED SHAVUOT MEALS (including full-course dairy, fish and meat meals) to seniors and patients quarantined at home. CMC provided two daily promotions for 30% DISCOUNT OFF SENIORS' GROCERY ORDERS from Kol Tuv and Hungarian, fulfilled by CMC's free shopping and delivery service while seniors remained safely at home. During the pandemic, CMC's ongoing shopping, pick-up and delivery services (see below for details) are providing seniors with tremendous convenience at no charge, while allowing them to remain safely at home. To date during the pandemic, over 600 orders from seniors have been fulfilled by CMC.  Regardless of Illinois' entry this week into Phase Three of the State's Covid-19 "re-opening" schedule, CMC will continue our special and expanded menu of Covid-10-related services and assistance until authorities remove all pandemic-related "stay-at-home" recommendations for seniors. CMC's menu of ongoing Covid-19 services includes the following: CMC is SHOPPING and DELIVERING for seniors from the Jewel on Howard (Evanston) There is no charge for CMC's shopping and delivery service Same-day service is provided CMC's delivery area includes the City and nearby suburbs Orders are paid for via customer's credit card, check or LINK card (with written permission) CMC is also PICKING UP and DELIVERING orders for seniors from ALL local groceries, pharmacies or department stores All food products shopped and/or delivered by CMC are kosher. All dairy products shopped and/or delivered by CMC are Chalav Yisrael.
