Dear Kehot Friend,
In two days, on the 28th of Sivan, world Jewry will celebrate the day, eighty years ago, on which the Lubavitcher Rebbe and his wife, the Rebbetzin, arrived on the hospitable shores of the United States of America, after narrowly escaping the Nazi onslaught in Europe.
I encourage you to celebrate this milestone, which marks the beginning of the Rebbe's efforts to revitalize post-Holocaust Judaism, by donating to his prized institution, the Kehot Publication Society.
I encourage you to visit our website and help us close the gap needed to publish a Chasidic text by the Rebbe. You may do it in honor of, or in memory of, a dear departed one.
With all good wishes,
Rabbi Yosef B. Friedman
"One who contributes from his wealth for the purpose of writing or publishing a book of a tzaddik --
At any given time, and in any corner of the world, that a person studies from this book, the tzaddik on high evokes merit on behalf of the donor through whom the book was disseminated."
--The Rebbe (Igrot Kodesh, vol 2)
