Rebbetzin Jaeger shared many wonderful insights in this week's Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan shiur. Here is one thought that she shared from (she thinks) the "Chiddushei HaRim", the 1st Ger Rebbe: "MarCheshvan is sometimes written as one word, which gives you the Root: Reish, Ches, Shin, - "Rachash". Rachash means 'to stir' - like a trembling kind of stirring. It says in Tehillim (45:2) 'Rachash Libi Davar Tov'. My heart is astir, is moved. And he says that in Cheshvan our heart and soul still have to be astir (moved) with the beauty and elevation and what ever we accepted during Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, and Sukkos/Simchas Torah."
