Tehillim 110
According to the Medrash Shochar Tov, David HaMelech wrote this psalm as if expressing the words of Hashem towards Avraham Avinu.
It is as if Hashem addresses Avraham and actually calls Avraham, "My master" (v.1). This is a way for Hashem to show gratitude to Avraham for revealing Hashem to the world.
In addition, we know that the world was created in order to give man the opportunity to do Chessed. Avraham, with his four-door tent, was the prime example of what Chessed means. We must always be inviting to other people and we must always be looking for opportunities to help others.
Hashem thanks Avraham, so to speak, for enabling the attribute of Chessed to come to fruition.
Segula for this perek: In order so that your enemies will make peace with you.  (From the Sefer Shimush Tehillim attributed to Rav Hai Gaon (969 -1038).)
1.  Of David a psalm. The word of Hashem to my master; "Wait for My right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool at your feet."
2.  The staff of your might Hashem will send from Zion; rule in the midst of your enemies.
3.  Your people will volunteer on the day of your host, because of the beauty of holiness when you fell from the womb; for you, your youth is like dew.
4.  Hashem swore and will not repent; you are a priest forever because of the speech of Malchizedek.
5. My Lord, on your right hand, has crushed kings on the day of His wrath.
6.  He will execute justice upon the nations [into] a heap of corpses; He crushed the head on a great land.
7.  From the stream on the way he would drink; therefore, he raised his head.
