SPECIAL NOTICE FROM CPD 024th District POWSAT

Attached, you will find a Crime Prevention and Information Center (CPIC) awareness bulletin. Please feel free to disseminate this letter to the community for Information.

Due to the Israeli- Palestinian conflict the 024th District will have daily patrols and special attention on all 3 watches with sector sergeants monitoring calls for service in the area. Also, there may be community members who may announce their stance on the conflict; if this is observed and is a cause for concern, please get a description and their actions and call 911 IMMEDIATELY.

 If the 024th District P.O.W.S.A.T. encounters important information, an update will be provided to the community. The Chicago Police Department urges all community members to keep situationally aware and pay attention to your surroundings while out in the neighborhood. We strongly encourage residents to inform the police by calling 911 immediately and reporting all suspicious vehicles, persons, and circumstances.
