October 16, 2023 Nevo Hazan Founder and Head Winemaker, Nevo Winery My dearest friends, brothers and sisters, It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to you. These are hard days here in Israel. I know you have been following the news and we feel your prayers for us. They strengthen us and make us feel not alone. We are grateful. Sadly, we fear our war is far from over. Our borders are now attacked but the impacts are felt throughout the state of Israel. Every town and village in our area has their own emergency squad to protect the people, although unfortunately some are not equipped. We fear for our beloved village of Matta, which is where we live and where the winery is located, and we fear for our friends and neighbors. While we understand that it is hard for our friends abroad to donate directly to the village of Matta, we are supporting the Ori Shani fund. Please click here to donate.
