Dear Friends,

We are all intimately familiar with the power of reciting Tehillim in times of hope, joy, or sorrow. As we live through these incredibly challenging days, when our Sifrei Tehillim are constantly with us, let us take a moment to internalize how the words of David Hamelech, written thousands of years ago, are just as relevant today.

This series on Tehillim, featuring presenters living in Israel, will elucidate specific perakim of Tehillim with an understanding for our times. Daily weekday emails, beginning this week, will focus on the following perakim: 6, 20, 23, 70, 83, 85, 91, 121, 130, 142.

Audio recordings will also be posted at ouwomen.org/tehillim23.

May our tefilot and learning be a zechut for the neshamot of those who perished al kiddush Hashem, Hashem yikom damam, for the safe and speedy return of our captives, for the healing of our wounded, the safety of our brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisrael, and help to protect all those fighting on the front lines.
