| As Yud-Tes Kislev fast approaches, there is a point to ponder: What is Chassidus and what does it accomplish? Sichos in English is sharing a beautiful sichah of the Rebbe, excerpted from its soon-to-be released Likkutei Sichos - Moadim, on this very question. In this sichah, the Rebbe draws on a parable of the Rebbe Rayatz – which indicates that Chassidus has two dimensions: It fortifies and maintains our connection to Yiddishkeit in these darkest times of galus and, simultaneously, it enhances and prepares us for the geulah as the footsteps of Mashiach resound.
