Bike Safety Fair This Sunday Bike Safety Fair Sunday, July 25 - 2 PM Bernard Horwich JCC parking lot 3003 W. Touhy Dear Neighbor, Please join me for an important Bike Safety Fair this Sunday, July 25 at 2 p.m. in the Bernard Horwich JCC parking lot at 3003 W. Touhy. Families are invited to learn bike safety tips and receive free kids' helmets, while supplies last. Swedish Hospital staff will be on site fitting helmets for size, so make sure to bring your kids along. Chicago's SAFE Ambassadors will also be there with safety tips and demonstrations, so bring your bike! Our community is having an important conversation now about safety, and pedestrian and bike education is a vital part of the discussion. We are also working hard to educate motorists on the vital necessity to drive safely. To that end, I have free yard signs in my office encouraging everyone to drive cautiously on residential streets.
