In a complex operation, IDF and Security Forces recovered and brought to Eretz Yisrael, the remains of the murdered hostages Ilan Weiss (55) HY'D and Idan Shtivi (28) HY'D for Jewish burial from Gaza on Friday, August 29. Ilan Weiss was from Be'eri and fought to defend the kibbutz on Oct. 7th. His wife Shir and daughter Noga were taken as hostages but were released in a deal on Nov. 22. Idan Shtivi had just arrived at the Nova festival when the terrorists began attacked and was taken hostage after saving a couple.
