Cracking the Code to Innovation
Cracking the Code to Innovation

How did prank calls and a love of video games lead to the tech that has kept the OU at the forefront of innovation? Find out in this episode of the Oh, You? podcast, as our EVP and COO, Rabbi Dr. Josh Joseph, sits down with Director of Product Development Shelomo Dobkin – the first episode filmed in our OU Israel studio!

Shelomo shares vital life lessons he learned from his parents, how an OU shiur led him to make aliyah, and his role in the origins of the classic "Purim Fever." His creativity and innovative thinking keep him constantly searching for new solutions to advance the OU's mission – including his recent exploration into harnessing AI and developing an impactful internship program.

Kol Echad

Are you a single parent unable to sit with your child on the other side of the mechitza? Kol Echad (formerly Ashiva) launched a new initiative to guide shuls on how to set up shul mentors – handpicked, trained, and professionally supported adults to sit with your child in shul.

Statement on the Attack in Minneapolis
Statement on the Attack in Minneapolis

The OU joins with our Catholic brothers and sisters, the city of Minneapolis, and all Americans in mourning the victims of the horrifying attack at the Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis.

We must pause and consider the multiple dimensions of this epic tragedy. The hopeful anticipation and excitement of the beginning of the school year for the children, the family, and the school community was destroyed in the senseless and intentional murder of school children engaged in worship. This was a monstrous assault on life, faith, and hope.

Our hearts are broken but our resolve is strong to stand together against hate.
