Dear Kehot Friend,
Today is Yud Shevat, the day of passing of the sixth Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn, of blessed memory, and the day on which our Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of blessed memory, became Rebbe.
Yud Shevat is a day of reflection and rededication to the ideals and teachings of our Rebbes.
The Rebbe has instituted that charity be given on this day to benefit an institutions founded by the Rebbe.
When they founded the Kehot Publication Society, the publishing arm of the Lubavitch movement, they created the vehicle through which they disseminated their teachings and those of their forbears, and ignited a fire that warms and inspires the hearts and minds of millions, till this very day.
Please take a moment to honor this day and partner with us in reprinting a classic work by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak: The Four Worlds
As a non-profit, Kehot puts the proceeds we receive from sales of our products right back into Kehot. But sales alone fall far short from covering the costs of producing high-quality Chasidic texts. Your tax-exempt donation will enable us to continue providing spiritual succor to people all across the globe.
We thank you for your past and current generosity and participation.
With wishes of an inspiring Yud Shevat.
Rabbi Yosef B. Friedman
"One who contributes from his wealth for the purpose of writing or publishing a book of a tzaddik --
At any given time, and in any corner of the world, that a person studies from this book, the tzaddik on high evokes merit on behalf of the donor through whom the book was disseminated."
