Dear ANEINU MEMBERS,
Rabbi Travis runs a Kolel in Eretz Yisroel called Kolel Toras Chaim. There, he prepares Rabonim to be Poskim. These are Rabonim who will take leadership roles in Klal Yisroel knowing the intricacies of halacha and who can deal with the complicated questions of the 21st Century. Today Rabbi Travis ran a campaign to raise $200,000 in 36 hours.
Tonight, Rabbi Travis is currently at $75K of $200K of his campaign for his Kollel with 24 hours left. He has already gone over 24 hours without sleep and due to the nature of this campaign he needs to raise the entire amount and will need to go another 24 hours without sleep. Rabbi Travis will not benefit a penny from these contributions and is doing this purely in order to ensure that there will be poskim for the future of the Jewish people and that these families who live on the meager incomes will have food for Shabbos and during the week. Rabbi Travis has been moser nefesh to speak for us for over six years and has taken hundreds if not thousands of tefilos to the gedolim for Aneinu women.
