Tehillim 48
This is the psalm that we recite on every Monday at the end of our Shacharit prayer. It seems fitting that the Sons of Korach composed this perek also because they have a connection to the second day of creation. On the second day of creation Hashem created a separation between the upper and lower waters by placing a firmament in between the waters. The Ramban explains that the division between spiritual and physical was also created. (The angels were created on the second day.)
In short, division was created. Division is the beginning of all Machloket or argument. For this reason, the Torah doesn't say "כי טוב" "it was good" with regards to the second day of creation. Of course, as we know, argument was something that Korach wanted to wage against Moshe Rabbeinu. Perhaps by saying this psalm that was composed by the Sons of Korach (who we know repented) we can rectify the sin of division and instead bring about the unity which is necessary for our ultimate salvation.
This perek also focuses on the future beauty of Yerushalaim (v.2) due to the Beit Hamikdash which is the glory of the whole world.
Segula for this perek: In order so that our enemies will fear us. (From the Sefer Shimush Tehillim attributed to Rav Hai Gaon (969 -1038).)

1. A song, a psalm of the sons of Korah.
2. Hashem is great and very much praised, in the city of our God, the Mount of His Sanctuary.
3. The fairest of branches, the joy of the entire earth- Mount Zion, by the north side, the city of a great king.
4. God is in its palaces; He is known as a stronghold.
5. For behold, the kings have assembled; they have passed together.
6. They saw, so they wondered; they were startled, yea, they were bewildered.
7. A quaking seized them there, pangs like [those of] a woman in confinement.
8. With an east wind, [with which] You break the ships of Tarshish.
9. As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the Hashem of Legions, in the city of our God; God shall establish it forever and ever.
10. We hoped, Hashem, for Your kindness in the midst of Your Temple.
11. As is Your name, Hashem, so is Your praise upon the ends of the earth; Your right hand is full of righteousness.
12. Mount Zion shall rejoice; the daughters of Judah shall exult for the sake of Your judgments.
13. Encompass Zion and surround it, count its towers.
14. Give heed to its walls, raise its palaces, in order that you may tell a later generation.
15. For this is God, our God forever and ever; He shall lead us as in youth.
