Tehillim 64
The commentators understand that, in this psalm, David HaMelech is prophesizing about a future event in which Daniel is thrown into a pit of lions. Daniel was in danger, just as David was in danger in the Desert of Yehuda (perek 63). The advisors to King Darius convinced him to issue a decree to prohibit any prayer to G-D for the next 30 days in order to assert his power. All prayers should rather be prayed to Darius.
Daniel, of course, would not comply with such a decree. He must pray to Hashem and he must pray three times a day. Thus, he was thrown in to the lion's den, but merited a miraculous salvation.
In all such situations we put our trust in Hashem and we are confidently happy, for we know that Hashem guides us always to the best possible outcome.
Segula for this perek: To pass through a river. (From the Sefer Shimush Tehillim attributed to Rav Hai Gaon (969 -1038).)
1.  For the conductor, a song of David.
2.  Hear, O God, my voice in my prayer; from fear of the enemy You shall guard my life.
3.  You shall hide me from the counsel of evildoers, from the gathering of workers of iniquity,
4.  Who whetted their tongue like the sword; who aimed a bitter word like their arrow,
5.  To shoot at the innocent in secret places; they shoot at him suddenly and do not fear.
6.  They strengthen the evil word for themselves; they tell to hide snares. They say, "Who will see us?"
7.  They seek pretexts; they have completed a diligent search, hidden within man and in the depths of the heart.
8.  And God cast them down; their wounds were [like] a sudden arrow.
9.  That which they hoped would make him stumble, their tongue brought upon them; all who see them will shake their heads.
10.  Then all men feared, and they declared the work of God and understood His deed.
11.  The righteous will rejoice with God and take shelter in Him, and all upright of heart will boast.
