This coming Monday/Erev Rosh Chodesh Kislev is Yom Kippur Kattan, a uniquely opportune time for increased tefillos on behalf of Klal Yisroel. In light of the current reality of danger in Eretz Yisroel and around the world, and with several hundred of our brothers and sisters still in captivity, we recommend-
· Each shul should have a Yom Kippur Kattan Tefilla during Mincha.
· Those who are capable should consider fasting (at least until chatzos). Those who will be fasting should accept this Taanis during Mincha on Sunday.
May our tefillos be a zechus for a refuah shleimah of those injured, the safe and speedy return of the hostages, and the safety and security of ourselves and our brethren in Eretz Yisroel and around the world.
If at Mincha there are ten men who are fasting, it would also be appropriate to add laining and the relevant insertions in the Shmoneh Esreh to the Tefillah b'Tzibbur.
