Time of sunset: 4:24

There are 11 hours and 3 minutes between dawn and sunset

Equivalent to 663 minutes (11x60=660 + 3 = 663)

663/12 = 55.25 minutes in a Halachik minute

55.25*9 = 497.25 minutes in 9 hours

497.25/60 = 8.2875 so we have 8 hours + 17.25 minutes (0.2875*60=17.25)

Now we want to calculate 8 hours and 17.25 minutes since dawn

5:21 + 8 hours and 17.25 minutes = 13h38 (1:38 pm)

1:38 pm is your start time + 9 minutes = 13h47 (1:47 pm)

Nine minute time slot for Lincolnwood, IL is: 1:38 pm to 1:47 pm

*The 9th hour of the 9th day of the 9th month*

 

This Wednesday, November 22nd, the 9th of Kislev, Hashem is giving us a very *big gift that only comes along once a year and only for 9 minutes*. During these short 9 minutes, we are given the opportunity to bring upon ourselves an abundance of blessings, salvations, and miracles. Whoever is aware of this Eit Ratson should feel privileged and consider that Hashem wants to give them gifts of blessings and abundance.  

The holy books say that every year, on the 9th hour of the 9th day of the 9th month, the gates of mercy and salvation are wide opened.

 

Many mekubalim attested that these nine minutes are very powerful. Rabbi Abraham Ben Isaac of Granada, author of the Brit Menucha, who was known to have acquired his torah knowledge from Eliahu Hanavi directly, wrote in his book that the ninth month (which is the month of Kislev) is the best month of the good months. The ninth day of the month of Kislev is the preferred day of the month. The 9th hour is the most 'successful' hour of the day, and it is an auspicious time for success and to receive an abundance of blessings.

 

The 9 minutes in the 9th hour are a favorable time. They are supernatural and the source of abundance from which we can acquire infinite blessings.  

According to the Jewish calendar, the 9th month is the month of Kislev (Year starts with the month of Nisan). The 9th day of the month will be Tet Kislev and the 9th hour is different in every city and is calculated starting from the time of dawn (Aalot Hashachar).

*Important note*: The 9th hour is not 9x60 minutes. It is calculated in a specific way and according to a halachik hour.

 

Rav Avitan will be sharing some tips to help us make the best of the short Eit Ratson B'H, but be prepared to start praying 15-30 minutes prior to this time in order to make the best of this special time.

שלום וברכה לכולם. 

כמו שאמרנו בסרטון על מעלת יום רביעי ט כסליו (חשוב מאד שמי שלא צפה בסרטון שיכנס לדף הפייסבוק שלנו אור חדש הרב רפאל אביטן, ויעקוב ויראה ויבין על איזו עת רצון מדובר). ישנה ביום הזה ובפרט בתשע הדקות בין השעה 1.42 ל1.51 בצהריים, הארה גדולה מאד של ישועה וברכה לכל אחד ואחת. 

בחוץ לארץ צריכים לחשב תשע שעות החל מעלות השחר לפי השעון שלכם ואז זו העת רצון.

לכן נכתוב ב"ה כמה 💥עצות וסגולות 💥 שגילו צדיקי הדורות זי"ע כיצד לזכות באותן הישועות הגשמיות והרוחניות שיש בדקות הללו:

1. הפסוק אומר טוב עין הוא יבורך. כדאי מאד להעביר ולשתף את ההודעה הזו ולהטיב לאחרים וזה ממשיך ברכה.

2. החל מיום שלישי בלילה מתחילה ההילולה של הצדיק הקדוש רבי דובער מלובוויטש זי"ע שהוא הבן של בעל התניא הקדוש זי"ע. לכן חשוב להדליק נר כבר מיום שלישי בלילה ומי שלא הספיק שידליק כמה שיותר מוקדם ביום רביעי. 

בסעיף הבא אכתוב לכם כמה שורות מהספר הקדוש שלו.יש לומר זאת ממש סמוך לשעה 1.42 יום רביעי.

3. כותב רבי דובער: 

"בעשות אדם את הטוב, גם במחשבה ודיבור, נברא מזה מלאך טוב להגין ולהמליץ טוב.כי ניתן ביד האדם לעשות זה השינוי בעולם למעלה. כי אם האדם בוחר במעשה חיים וטוב,אז מעורר למעלה המשכת שפע חיים וטוב ברוחניות ובגשמיות. במוח ולב מאירים בתפילה, ובפרנסתו שיצליח ויסיר ממנו כל מקטרג רע. ובזה ניתנה הבחירה דווקא בידי בשר ודם, שהוא מעורר על ידי בחירתו, שיאיר אור צח ובהיר בחסדים הטובים".

4. מכיוון שאחד הדברים שגורמים לתפילה שלנו להתעכב חלילה, אלו מעשינו הלא טובים. לכן  חשוב מאד שכל אחד ואחת יאמרו ביום רביעי, בערך בשעה 1.15 בצהריים, את פרקי התהלים שנקראים תיקון הכללי, שגילה רבי נחמן מברסלב זי"ע ולומר שזה לתיקון החטאים שלנו.(אלו הפרקים טז לב מא מב נט עז צ קה קלז קנ).

5. לאחר תיקון הכללי, יש לומר את פרק קיט בתהלים שמורכב מאותיות האלף בית מאות א עד תיו. כל אחד ואחת שיגיד את שמו ושם אימו לפי האותיות.

למשל דוד בן שרה. 

ואז את אותיות מזל.

6. חשוב מאד❗

כל הסגולות הללו צריך להגיד לפני! התשע דקות של הישועות.

כי חבל לבזבז את הדקות הבודדות הללו.

תעשו בדיוק כמו שכתבתי.

ב1.15 תיקון הכללי ואז לקרוא את מה שכתוב בסעיף 3 ואז פרק קיט לפי השם.

7. כדאי לכולם לרשום על דף או במכשיר את השמות ואת הנושאים שחשובים לה להתפלל עליהם. יש לחלק לשלושה נושאים שהכי חשובים לך בחיים. זה יכול להיות זוגיות פרנסה בריאות שמחה הצלחה התקרבות להבורא אמונה וכו. כל נושא להקדיש לו 3 דקות שביחד זה יוצא 9 דקות. ופשוט בדקות הללו לבקש מהקדוש ברוך הוא בשפה שלך כל מה שחסר לך או לקרובים שלך ולעם ישראל.

*Tips to better prepare for the nine auspicious minutes on the 9th of Kislev (Wednesday, November 22,2023)*

 

In addition to the video translated this morning, here are a few tips that will help you make the best of the short nine minutes that many great Rabbis and Mekubalim have said are auspicious for yeshuot and an abundance of blessings.

 

We are posting this translation from a previous year because Rav Avitan will only be posting his in the morning Israel time and because of the different time zones, we prefer to post what we have.

 

*Rav Avitan confirms that for those living outside Israel, the nine minutes must be calculated according to your city and not according to Israel time*. To calculate the nine minutes in your city, please see the Steps-by-step to calculate the 9-minute time frame in your city.

*We apologize, but although we wish we could, we cannot calculate the time slots for every city.*

 

1.      Before asking for your prayers to be answered, it is wise to do a good deed with your fellow Jew and share this information so others too can benefit from this auspicious Eit Ratson.

2.      ‪Tuesday night and Wednesday is the Hilula of *Rabbi Dov Ber* from Lubavitch, son of the holy Ba'al Hatanya. It is important to light a candle in his honor. Rav Avitan shares a portion of his teaching and suggests it be read close to the time of the nine minutes on Wednesday.

Rabbi Dov Ber says:

When man does a good deed, be it through thought or speech, a good angel who becomes a defendant angel, is created. Man is given the power, through his actions, to create change in Shamayim. If he choses to do good in life, then he is blessed with and abundance of blessings and success in both spiritual and material aspects. It is through man's free will that he can bring good upon himself by doing good.

 

3.      Due to our bad deeds/sins, our Yeshuot may, G-d forbid, be delayed and our prayers are sometimes not answered. It is therefore important to precede the nine minutes with Rabbi Nachman of Breslev's Tikkun HaKlali. Rav Avitan suggests you start saying it ‪about 20 minutes prior to the 9 minutes and to mention that you are saying the Tikkun as a correction for all your past sins that way your prayers will be readily accepted.

(The tikkun is composed of the following chapters in Tehilim: 16, 32, 41, 42, 59, 77, 90, 105, 137 and 150 טז לב מא מב נט עז צ קה קלז קנ)

 

4.      After saying the Tikkun, one should say chapter 119 according to the letters of his/her name ben/bat בן/ בת his/her mother or father's name (depending on your tradition), followed by the verses corresponding to the letters of the word מזל.

 

*!!!IMPORTANT!!!* These segulot must be said before the auspicious nine minutes. Leave yourself enough time before the time starts so you can have the time to pray for all your needs.

Rav Avitan Suggests one to read the Tikkun HaKlali, read the teachings of Rabbi Dov Ber and then say Tehillim 119 according to your name.

 

5.      It is a good idea to have a paper ready with all the things you want to pray for so as not to forget anything. Pray for health, a good livelihood, zivoug, shalom bayit, happiness, success, closeness to the Creator, faith, etc. Do not forget to pray for our soldiers, the hostages, for safety for Klal Isreal and for Mashiach beRachamim. Take the time to ask Hashem, in your own language for all your heart's desires. Pray for yourself, your family, am Israel… These nine minutes go by very fast.

 

May Hashem listen to and answer all your prayers speedily and for the best B'H!
