Good morning Chaya!! Here's a video and pic of the first batch of goods! They went to a unit of Lone Soldiers!! Please stress to the Aneinu group NOT to repost these to any social media or to send to anyone else! It's is very dangerous for the soldiers as they are being targeted abroad and there is new technology that can potentially reveal their faces we are trying to conceal!!

There are more being distributed to IDF field medics in Gaza and to other units, including the unit of Yehonatan Chaim ben Chemda, the soldier being treated in Chicago.

For those who have yet to buy, PLEASE make an order for our soldiers to help to alleviate their difficult situation! You may be saving a life! Heatstroke is very dangerous!

This is from my Israeli friend, Yonat, who has been our contact for the injured soldier, Yehonatan Chaim ben Chemda who is being treated in Chicago at the Shirley Ryan Rehab downtown. She sent me the following:

I am starting a new mitzvah project (due to the fact we are entering another scorching August at war)! There have been a lot of requests from IDF units for kosher electrolytes and kosher snack bars…. The heat is unbearable and a crucial component to fueling the physical and mental resilience of its soldiers is nutrition! I thought we'd send some love & strength to the IDF from Chicago!!

I put together an Amazon list with kosher electrolytes and kosher snack bars. The items will be sent to a JCC (SYJCC - Terri's Angels in Commack, NY) in New York where they will be put into duffles and sent on El Al to Israel! From there they will be distributed to IDF units.

Also people can feel free to write a gift note at checkout to the soldiers- they should also sign their name & "from Chicago" at the end…. (But due to security reasons please do NOT write anything that will indicate these are going to the IDF…. Just write general things like thank you/with love/sending strength etc etc….)
