I have attached the hostage list, a tefilla for captives taken from Tefillah LeShlomo by the Gaon, HaRav Shlomo Yehuda Be'eri, known as the Yanuka shlit"a, and a booklet of tefillos compiled in memory of Mrs. Rivka Segal, Rivka Yocheved bas Hillel, a"h. Rivka was a devoted member of many Chicago Aneinu Tehillim groups, and her presence and her sincere tefillos are greatly missed. In this booklet you will find a misheberach for captives on pages 6A-6B. 

We must increase our tefillos for the hostages as much as possible, as the situation is extremely dire. You can daven for them in Sh'ma Koleinu in Shemona Esrei. It only takes a minute to read the list of names. You can say the misheberach and the Yanuka's tefilla, anytime.

Haggai Angrest, father of Matan, who is being held captive by Hamas, said on Tuesday morning that in line with the recommendation of rabbis, the family has added a name to their son's name.

"Rabbis recommended that we add another name to our Matan," Angrest said in an interview with Kol Berama Radio. "We received the blessing of Rabbi David Abuhatzeira, and we added the name Shachar."

Angrest shared that his son's special Psalm is chapter 23 - "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want" - and he called on the public to pray for the swift release of Matan Shachar.
