Parshas Toldos almost always falls out the week of Rosh Chodesh Kislev. Rav Palagi suggested that on Rosh Chodesh Kislev, one should be mekabel not to complain for the entire month plus 3 more days until the end of Chanuka.

It is brought down that Yitzchok and Rivkah were zoche to have children because they composed and recited Nishmas. Therefore, one should say Nishmas and Mizmor L'Todah several times on Rosh Chodesh to merit a Yeshua. Many Sidurim have their names highlighted vertically at the end of Nishmas.

This month of Kislev, let us realize the Power of the Jew. We face challenges. We walk through fire. We live through indescribable destruction and pain. We should see an end to the terrible Tzaros in Eretz Yisroel. Let us cry out to Hashem, "Shema Yisroel Hashem Elokeinu Hashem Echad"! We never give up. Not on ourselves and not on our faith. This month we should see the "Light" and Simcha for all. We should be Zoche for the Geula B'karov. May it Only be a little longer!
