YWN Update on Maran Elyashiv Shlita (8:30AM IL)

Two weeks after being admitted to a Shaare Zedek Medical Center cardiac intensive care unit, Maran Posek HaDor HaGaon HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv Shlita remains in critical/stable condition. “An improvement” has been reported in the rav’s condition, but there are no details explaining just what the improvement is and to what extent the rav’s condition has improved. There are unconfirmed reports that in light of last’s week success in extubating the rav and performing a tracheotomy, doctors this will attempt to bring him out of the medically induced coma.
