Dear FYHS Community,

This week we celebrated the Hachtara for our new Rosh HaYeshiva, Rabbi Moshe Revah (click here for videos from the event). Even prior to assuming the role of Rosh HaYeshiva, Rabbi Revah already made an impact on the Torah learning and growth at the Yeshiva, which he will continue to expand on in his new role. One initiative he introduced this year to FYHS is the "V'Haarev Na" Gemara learning program. The program stresses the importance of chazara (review) to successfully master a masechta. That mastery, in turn, builds the self-confidence of each talmid.

Since the war in Israel began, with the help of Rabbi Revah, our FYHS students have strengthened their avodas Hashem as a zechus for the safety and security of our chayalim and Klal Yisrael. As part of the launch of the V'haarev Na program, Rabbi Revah accompanied our boys on a kickoff trip to New York. Please see below for more information about V'haarev Na, including a video launching the program that was filmed in Elul.

We're so proud of our students who have already begun to work on their limud Torah and hope that they continue to be a source of nachas to their parents and a zechus for Eretz Yisrael.

May we be zoche to see yeshuos b'karov,
