Dear Friend of the OU Women's Initiative,
The haftarot of Rosh Hashanah draw us into a chorus of women's voices — Sarah, Chana, Hagar, and Rachel. Each speaks from a different place: Sarah laughs with astonishment at new life, Chana pours out her heart in prayer, Hagar cries in the wilderness, and Rachel weeps for her children in exile. Together, their voices form a single message: Hashem hears us wherever we are.
On Rosh Hashanah, these voices merge into one symphony of faith. We, too, bring our full range of voices — joy and longing, whispered words and unspoken tears. The message of these women is timeless: no prayer is wasted, no cry is too small, and no expression of the soul is ignored.
At the OU Women's Initiative, we strive to amplify these voices by creating opportunities for women to learn, teach, lead, and be heard across the Jewish world. This Rosh Hashanah, I invite you to add your voice by supporting our work. Together, we can ensure that women's Torah and leadership continue to inspire and uplift our communities.
Please make a gift today in honor of the Yamim Noraim — so that the chorus of voices continues to grow louder, reaching hearts and strengthening Klal Yisrael.
Wishing you and your family a year of blessing, health, and joy.
