• How does a person become a Shomer? Is a verbal commitment enough to make him liable? • What are the responsibilities of an unpaid guardian? • If the guardian is unsure of what occurred to the item, is he required to pay for it? • In a case where the guardian was negligent but something else occurred that may have happened even if he had been careful, is he liable for his negligence?
