Baruch Dayan HaEmes With great sorrow, HTC mourns the loss of the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Bais Yisrael and HTC Musmach (1964) HaRav Daniel Lehrfield, ZT"L Rav Lehrfield was a talmid of our Yeshiva for many years, beginning at the young age of nine years old. He learned under the illustrious HTC Roshei Yeshiva, Rav Hertzl Kaplan, Rav Mendel Kaplan, Rav Mordechai Rogow, Rav Chaim Kreiswirth and Rav Chaim Zimmerman who he considered to be his rebbe muvhak for 35 years. Rav Lehrfield went on to teach Torah in Eretz Yisrael, founded Yeshivas Bais Yisrael and wrote the multi-volume Binas Daniel on Shas and Chemdas Daniel on Agaddah. The levaya took place tonight in Eretz Yisrael.
